We are seeking
a Senior Project Engineer to
develop and grow our Construction
Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) team. The successful candidate will
manage and direct specialized construction engineering and inspection projects.
Take the lead in the refinement and implementation of the firmís strategy and business growth plan for the Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) team
Management and execution of construction engineering and inspection projects from inception to completion in accordance to the project plan.
Management and oversight of project work; review and approval of project schedules, requests for information, submittals, and change requests; inspection or direction of inspection of work to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Maintain and track documentation throughout the project life cycle and prepare FORM 2059 for LADOTD audit at completion of project.
Identify opportunities for growth;strengthen existing client base and service offerings in construction engineering and inspection.
Nurture and develop team of inspectors and project team members.
degree in civil engineering
professional (P.E.) in Louisiana (or if registered in another state, the
ability to obtain registration in the State of Louisiana within six months)
with a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.
least six (6) years of experience in charge of managing roadway construction
projects,[(four (4) years of which in major road or bridge construction) or (two
(2) years of which in major bridge construction on complex bridge projects with
management experience, including the development of project proposals, scopes,
budgets, and the successful execution and tracking of engineering and CE&I
oral and written communication skills. Candidate will need to communicate
clearly with clients and associates. Candidate must also be able to present
project progress to clients and associates in a clear and concise manner.
