Dutchtown High School
Land Development
The Challenge
To Be Met
Ascension Parish School Board sought a firm with site development experience to assist in the design and construction of Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana. The new 50-acre school complex consists of a two-story classroom building with an administrative office, a resource center, a media center, science labs, computer labs, and a cafeteria/kitchen. A separate building houses two gymnasiums, a music room, a physical education room, athletic rooms, and a football field house.
The Solution
Our Creative Approach
TBS provided civil design for site infrastructure, including access roadways, subsurface drainage, sewerage, utilities, site paving, and geometric layout of buildings. In addition, TBS provided specifications for a lift station and gravity sewer lines as well as over 50,000 square yards of paved roadway and parking.
