T. Baker Smith (TBS) provides professional services to facilities and terminals across the Gulf coast. Through the use of 3-D laser scanning, TBS can digitally capture more data efficiently. TBS utilizes 3-D laser scanning technologies to scan and determine volumetric and tank containment capacities to help ensure state and federal capacity regulatory compliance. The scanned point cloud data can be used to display elevations of liquid flow pattern to assist in determination of areas to increase or decrease fill.
