Software Sales Lead

T. Baker Smith is pursuing a Software Sales Lead with an aptitude for innovative solutions to join the TBS team. The right person will enthusiastically and actively build and maintain new clients collaboratively with the team.

Your Opportunity:

  • Opportunity to works with clients, internal stakeholders, and the technology/innovation group to ensure successful adoption and utilization of TBS Software Solutions.
  • Responsible for revenue generation and setting and achieving growth goals and objectives as they relate to specific solutions.
  • Responsible for marketing and business development of innovation initiatives/solutions, as well as cross-selling of core services.
  • Presenting software products or services to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits, and demonstrating how they can address clients’ specific needs.
  • Crafting sales proposals and negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals while ensuring that both parties are satisfied with the agreement.
  • Responsible for client communication, follow-up, and “client-success” as it relates to solutions/services.
  • Acting as the main point of contact throughout the lifecycle of solution.
  • Facilitates communication between Operations, Technology/Innovation or other needed technical or management resources in the firm to ensure delivery of solutions.
  • Responsible for marketing software solutions to target markets/clients as it relates to “The List.”
  • Execute on effective marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive sales and market share.
  • Oversee lead generation activities, including content marketing, digital advertising, social media marketing, and events.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and messaging for our software products and solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, understand client needs, refine sales and marketing strategies, and modifying.
  • Assists in developing a competitive strategy that aligns with the TBS Way and overall Marketing Strategy.

Desired Qualifications Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field of study for software development and project/program management preferred.
  • Exceptional sales acumen, with track record of success achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a proven ability to close deals and drive revenue.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal/external clients, stakeholders, and team members; Ability to recognize and resolve conflict.
  • Can identify issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise using written & verbal communication skills to distill technology projects into understandable and compelling executive level presentations.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Solid project/program management skills.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is generally in both a typical office and outside environment and thus, exposed to the noise, dust, smells, and other environmental factors present in such an environment.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, requiring 40+ hours per week. Nights away from home and weekend commitments to the firm, its associates and clients are required.

Travel

Extensive travel by vehicle, air, or other mode of transportation, in the United States and internationally will be required for this position. Nights away from home and weekend commitments to the firm, its associates, and clients are required. Monthly, or more as required, visits to each of the firm’s US based locations (where the respective discipline has a presence) and quarterly to international locations (where the respective discipline has a presence) are required.
